If I could give this a zero, I would have Jul 22, 2010 My son received this as a birthday gift, I was reluctant to open because it said for "indoor" use. Really? Who wants a helicopter flying around inside their house? Hitting walls, ceilings, etc. So we opened it and decided to do it on our covered porch. This toy is so unsuitable it's not even funny. Completely unsafe, even when you adjust the spin (L/R) it still spins out of control, there is pretty much no down speed, it flies up and then comes crashing down. Everyone runs for cover, it's like an out of control wasp ready to attack. Not only is this thing a piece of garbage, it's unsafe.

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!! Jun 24, 2010 These things are a blast! Takes a little while to get used to but after a few minutes you should be up and running. The main this is to figure out the trim (balance) by pushing a button left/right, once you figure that out it is the same every time and only takes a few seconds during take-off to achieve stability. They are loads of fun and I love to terrorize the Mrs. a bit with it and the kiddies as well, whizzing around their heads and what not. I wouldn't recommend this for young kids (under 7 or so) because they are kind of delicate and can be broken with too many crash's and rough handling. My 3 year old was playing with mine and managed to bend something so that it would rocket off to the left and slam into the wall upon take off. I plan on buying another and will be more cautious were I leave it next time :) Great adult toy, buy it, trust me-your gonna love it!

Not worth it Jun 21, 2010 This toy is not suitable for kids at all. It has a hard time taking off and then goes in circles all over the place,. Cheap production shows. When I called the company they told me that it is only for inside which is funny because unless you have a huge room with a super high ceiling you really can't use it. Impossible to really control the flight path. Customer Service was terrible in resolving my issues. I would not recommend this product to anybody.
Havoc Stinger Mar 27, 2010 Bought this as a present for my husband as he has a lot of Air Hogs helicopters and loves them. Worked as expected, just as reliable and durable as any other Air Hogs toy. I can't give any specifics on difficulty of the controls since I've never used it but he seemed to fly it easy. I do remember some of the newer features he liked were the weight piece added on. He often had things taped to his old ones for a little added weight for stability.
Great fun for ten minutes Feb 11, 2010 My grandsons were very excited to get two of these toys and had a great time for as long as they lasted. Unfortunately, both broke within about ten minutes. The propeller is way too fragile. I would never buy these again. Forty or fifty dollars can be better spent on something that holds up for much longer.
