5Great Buy!  Dec 27, 2009 By J. A. Martinez "grammar girl"
I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. I was concerned at first about its small size and its durability. He loved the size, and, two days later, the chopper has lasted through several falls without a hitch. He has trouble moving it forward while it's in the air, but I suspect that's a question of practice. It's not super-easy to maneuver, but that's part of the fun. It's challenging. The company website is great, and has a good tutorial video for every one of its products. I plan to get him a new model every Christmas.

5Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!!  Jun 24, 2010 By N. Smith
These things are a blast! Takes a little while to get used to but after a few minutes you should be up and running. The main this is to figure out the trim (balance) by pushing a button left/right, once you figure that out it is the same every time and only takes a few seconds during take-off to achieve stability. They are loads of fun and I love to terrorize the Mrs. a bit with it and the kiddies as well, whizzing around their heads and what not. I wouldn't recommend this for young kids (under 7 or so) because they are kind of delicate and can be broken with too many crash's and rough handling. My 3 year old was playing with mine and managed to bend something so that it would rocket off to the left and slam into the wall upon take off. I plan on buying another and will be more cautious were I leave it next time :) Great adult toy, buy it, trust me-your gonna love it!

2Great fun for ten minutes  Feb 11, 2010 By natalie k
My grandsons were very excited to get two of these toys and had a great time for as long as they lasted. Unfortunately, both broke within about ten minutes. The propeller is way too fragile. I would never buy these again. Forty or fifty dollars can be better spent on something that holds up for much longer.

2Fun But Flimsy  Jan 15, 2010 By Doggymcnuggets "doggymcnuggets"
My son and I received two Air Hog Heli Havoc helicopters for Christmas and they are a blast - while they last! One of them broke after a few days when the on/off button broke off during power down. We promptly exchanged it for one of the Air Hog Stinger helicopter models which then broke upon the very first use when one of the blades broke off. I did yet another exchange and the new one is working for the moment. The lady at WalMart said that they get lots of returns on these units and I'm not surprised. They are great fun when they work offering a low price, simple control scheme, and indoor use. Unfortunately they really are flimsy and don't seem to withstand normal use - if you buy one keep your receipt!

1If I could give this a zero, I would have  Jul 22, 2010 By A. Mott "Always on the hunt for something different"
My son received this as a birthday gift, I was reluctant to open because it said for "indoor" use. Really? Who wants a helicopter flying around inside their house? Hitting walls, ceilings, etc. So we opened it and decided to do it on our covered porch. This toy is so unsuitable it's not even funny. Completely unsafe, even when you adjust the spin (L/R) it still spins out of control, there is pretty much no down speed, it flies up and then comes crashing down. Everyone runs for cover, it's like an out of control wasp ready to attack. Not only is this thing a piece of garbage, it's unsafe.
