Nice trainer Sep 30, 2008
By Jaime Navarrete Really light trainer, but it can handle (with a little challenge of course) nice winds!. As it is adbertised, is just a trainer, but Im really happy.
The Monokote came with a few wrinkles, but nothing that harm the plane. It came also with a spinner and 3 blade propeller, but didnt use them because they looked really cheap. I invested $10(lol) for a new Spinner/Propeller.
The airplane is very sensible to the commands, so you may require adjust the % on the radio (Im using a Spektrum DX7) if you dont like close turns (not my case though)
Im using it with a .46OS, and has a plentty of power to climb this plane. Because is so light, you can flight it reaaaally slow, so is nice to perform some tricks.
I didnt try to make some crazy stuff on the air besides the basics one.. it can handle spins, loops, rolls, etc, but you have to put attention because it wasnt designed for that, so when you are inverted for example you HAVE to push the stick forward (not a little) otherwise you will finish on the ground...
In an overall Im pretty satisfied. I have it for a month and Im now looking for another one with low wings
