My son owns Lego's and these are nothing at all like Lego's. They will work with Lego's. The quality is very poor and the pieces will not fit together all of the time. Some pieces will have excess flashing still on them. Some of the pieces are warped and unusable. Some of the directions are color illustrated, some are not. I had to throw several pieces away as they would never work. That being said, I ended up with a large amount of pieces that did work properly. Although I wasn't able to complete what was illustrated, it made my Lego collection much larger for a very low price. Some of the pieces in these sets are not in normal Lego pieces, but work with them. Thus, giving you a unique piece. All said and done I am happy about my purchase. I got these when they were 70 percent off. 'A+' for Amazon's shipping and handling as always!

I build Legos all the time with my son and have always been able to build everything. My son loves anything army so I bought this. Parts didn't fit together and directions were wrong.
Don't waste your time and frustrate your child.

Looks good but sure is not Lego! Instructions very hard to follow! My husband had to put several of these Best Lock blocks together for my son who usually needs no help with Lego. Even a few pieces missing on some of the sets. But once together they seem to be staying together ok still not as good as Lego. But if you are wanting military legos Best Lock is your only choice.

We had A LOT of fun putting this toy together. The instructions were pretty clear and perfect for my 9 year old. It was missing a couple of small pieces but we were able to pull it together using other parts. This product is just as good as any lego product and I highly recommend. We bought two different assortments and are very pleased with them. Lots of fun! :)

The pieces do not stick together well, so you need to constantly go back and fix what has already been put together. Toy not worth the money. It is very frustrating. The instructions are also confusing.
