good part to have Mar 05, 2011
By subgradient These things break easily so its good to have spares. I have found that some breaks can be fixed with two-part epoxy, just about any other glue won't work.

Not needed as a "just in case" spare Nov 16, 2011
By Clark Poland When I looked at purchasing my Blade mSR RTF, the reviews either here or elsewhere recommended picking up a spare landing skid set because you're likely to break it. I disagree, I've flown and abused my little mSR, and haven't managed to damage it in any way that would need replacement parts. This skid has enough flex and sturdiness for such a small heli that I can't imagine what you would have to do to break it. My advice is don't order it unless you actually break it, because otherwise you have a couple dollar part just sitting around with no use.

Too Delicate Sep 05, 2011
By M on Amazon These could and should be stronger. The diameter of the plastic should be doubled at the least. The MSR has the power to carry the extra weight along with the speed to break this part in its current form. I suggest researching strength modifications on YT and forums.

Blade mSR/mCX2 Landing Skid/Batt Holder Apr 21, 2011

So easily broken and warped that it is likely to need frequent replacement. However, alternatives are rather heavy by comparison.
Does what it is designed to do Apr 08, 2012
By berich The overall rating for this accessory is the only category this fits into. Truth is, it is a part that is DESIGNED to break so that the rest of the helicopter does not incur any damage. Unlike the other reviews that show this as a flimsy part, well, that is exactly what it is supposed to be. A part that breaks on impact, so it saves the rest of your helicopter. It's the crumple zone of the bottom of the helicopter. Don't buy landing gear that doesn't absorb the impact and doesn't dissipate the impact energy into itself, otherwise that energy gets propagated into the rest of the helicopter.
