This is quality set well worth the price a friend of mine from Arizona recommended it his set lasted years he said and that was dry and wet panning you wont go wrong with this set get your money's worth plus.Yes I've used it and it traps nuggets perfectly.

If these pans were purchased separately, the cost would have been several dollars more. Shipping was very quick and secure. I hope to spend many hours in the great outdoors with these quality gold pans. I won't get rich, but I'll have fun.

I was apprehensive when I first ordered this delux gold pan set. What caught my eye was not only the price but the capability of either dry or wet panning. Several days before my order was to receive I got ancy a bought an older set of gold pans. There is no comparison, Garrett's design is not only superb but one of the few designs where is is literally impossible to lose any gold when panning due to their steep clif design. Yes the magnifying glass is cheesy and so are the tweezers but I already knew that! For those that want every item to be high quality, buy each item seperately....But then I am sure they will complain about the price!

When first received I liked the quality in the Gold Pans. The pans are constructed of a good,durable,quality and thick plastic. The Classifier has no metal, so it nice if you are using a metal detector to see if you have no nuggets in the classifier. Didn't really care for the books, they seemed like they were a advertisement for there other products and didn't really help me out in the search for gold. The gold holding tubes are made of plastic, so i didn't like them. I like the sound of gold in the glass holding tubes. All in all, well worth the money. You will have years or a lifetime of use with the gold pans.

Great product. 3 different size pans and a classifier. The two books included go over most of the same information. The retro dvd included made gold panning look easy until you actually get to the river and begin panning. Look forward trying it again in the summer.
