Not for Spike the Dinosaur Dec 08, 2010

I typed in "Spike the Dinosaur Battery Charger" on Amazon's search, and this charger popped up. It is not the charger that fits the battery that Spike came with...unfortunately I did not find this out until it came to the house. The company that sells it doesn't refund shipping. The charger was $6 and the shipping was $6.09. Amazon customer service answer: Mail back to the company, get my 6 bucks back, then call customer service again to get a Amazon credit for the $6.09. So I would be out the cost to mail back to the company, cost of gas to go to post office, and the time to wait in line to mail it back. Product will end up in a land-fill.
Not very happy about this, but at least it is only 12 bucks. Venting here has made me feel better about it.

I also wanted a charge for Spike the Dinosaur. The description makes it sound like that is what it is for and it isn't. A little irritated to say the least.

I to typed in charger for this dinosaur and this is was popped up and i ordered it and it come in today and to my surprise it wasn't the charger for this dinosaur. Uggg I'm so mad.

I too was also looking for a charger for the Imaginext Spike Ultra Dinosaur and saw this advertisement under the toy. There weren't any reviews to read so I ordered it and found that it was not the right battery charger. I can return it but to what avail; spend more money so they can turn around and rip someone else off with it, plus I will spend even more to ship it back.
Shame on Amazon for pushing this scheme!

I also typed in Spike The dinosaur and this charger came up , and this is the wrong charger as other reveiws it would be a waste to even try to send it back. Maybe I can try to resell it here, but that was very upsetting to wait all that time for the incorrect item.
