WARNING - THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS BPA Jan 27, 2011
By Heather This product contains BPA. Given that this product is a TEETHER toy, I do not know what Fisher Price is thinking or why it would continue to manufacture this item using BPA plastic. I like the design, but I would never buy a teether product for my baby containing BPA.

Colorful, fun, and useful! Oct 19, 2010

We got our first set of these as a gift, and bought a second set because they are so much more useful than the oval rings you can get from other manufacturers. Not only are the figures on the molded rings interesting and chewable for my son (now 13 months), but the round textured rings make excellent toy holders on the stroller bar, Baby Bjorn strap, backpack handle, diaper bag strap, etc. etc. etc. We take collections of toys and random binkies, all strung together on these amazingly durable rings, everywhere we go. We even leave the groupings linked together in the toy box, so Duncan can pull things out and manipulate the bunches, which he enjoys enormously.
I highly recommend these rings for babies from 6 months to 2 years +. They are colorful, strong, flexible, and multi-purpose.

cute! Feb 06, 2010
By CLS&LMS these are adorable! I love the little animals... I also bought them for my daughter so I could link them onto her play gym, they are too fat for the holes in the playgym, but i use them for other things and they work out just fine. They are thick and durable. The ones without the animals will hold other toys. I used to use these to clip toys onto my son's stroller so he wouldn't lose them when we went out, but I lost them btwn kidsso I needed another set for my daughter. They are alot thicker then the ones I used to have so I am hoping that they work just as well. But these are much cuter =)

So cheap, and baby LOVES them. Nov 27, 2010
By JamesnJosie So I think the purpose of these is to link toys to other things, but my baby LOVES playing with just the rings all linked together. They are brightly colored, good for chewin' and you can bang them on the table really loud. All attributes to make baby happy. They are probably the cheapest "toy" I have, and the most popular except the jumperoo. That makes mama happy. And seriously portable, too. You can make several chains and have one for the high chair, the diaper bag, the car seat, the tub. I am going to get some more.

Mixed feelings Apr 26, 2011
By Alizabeth Szilagyi In all fairness, my 6 month old son would probably give these a five. He loves to grab them, fling them, tug at them and chomp on them. Without them we wouldn't be able to bring his favorite little rattle bug with us on all our afternoon walks.
I enjoy their cute animal creatures, varied textures and fun colors (though it bugs me there isn't an even number of colors . . . just being picky). They are much sturdier than the other set of links grandma gave us, which are now just sitting in his closet. But with the sturdy comes a price, they are not bendable enough to be linked onto our chicco keyfit car seat.
Also, I really don't need 20 of them. Weird complaint, I know . . . but it's true. I have one medium basket of toys and I refuse to have more. So owning 20 of these just creates a lot of clutter in the bottom of the basket.
As for the BPA, I'm going to investigate that. I've found a lot of reviews on Amazon where mothers say a product has BPA but it really doesn't. I'm not sure where Grandma bought them, but I'm willing to bet it was her local Wal-Mart. So I'll go look at the packaging (which I have thrown away) and find out if the BPA rumor is true.
