Hangar 9 PT-19 CL .36 Oct 05, 2010
By Rubicon I purchased this airplane to get myself back into CL flying after 30 years as well as introducing my 12 year old son to the sport. The box arrived in good condition and we wasted no time in assembling the plane. We had it together in just a couple hours. I would like to say our first flight went well, but the plane acted erratic and it eventually crashed. We later learned from the Hanger 9 website that there were 2 bulletins concerning this plane. The first involves an incorrect elevator pushrod, and the second deals with the flight lines being too long for correct control. (Our plane had both problems) Additionally, the color listed for the fuselage in the manual is incorrect. Hangar 9 did stand behind their product, and now with all problems corrected, we have a great flying plane. I would also like to mention that the EVO engine starts and runs great. If you take the time to correct the minor problems prior to first flight, this is a great plane.
