5Great Value but You'll Want More  Dec 12, 2004 By Beabea
I bought this for our four year old, and he really enjoys playing with them. I like this generic collection of mult-purpose bricks better than the sets that are designed to build one unique item. For the price, you really get a lot of stuff. On the down side, there are a lot of the smaller bricks (1 x 2 and 1 x 1), but it is still a good value. After playing with this for a few days I found that my son wanted plates, bricks (2 x 4 and 2 X 8), and wheels (my son loves to make cars). I went to lego dot com where I was able to buy these specific things. Also, if you want to find some odd parts from old sets (even going back to the 1970s) try bricklink dot com.

In summary, buy this set first from Amazon and then go to lego dot com to buy wheels, bricks and plates.

51000 Piece Lego Bucket Rocks!  Sep 15, 2004
I got the Lego Creator 1000-Piece Bucket and I've already made a circus, the olympics, a town and a theme park. You should get this bucket because you can build so many things unlike regular Lego Sets.

4Lego to the max, Man  Nov 27, 2005
So many pieces, and such a low price. It's crazy! I came up with a 4-storied house! If there is more than one peoples at a house, this will fit them.

Pros-
1000 pieces
regular bricks
assortment of colors
Cheap price!

Cons-
They spill all over if you dump the tub
Nothing but bricks (no pulleys, wheels, etc.)
No plate to put the legos on.

4Great buy!  Nov 18, 2005 By Patrick L. Hart
I purchased this for my 5 year old Grandson. We had hours of fun building things shown in the enclosed booklet. I strongly recommend purchasing the 'base plate' with this collection. It helps hold the things you are building together.

3No Wheels!!! No People!!! Just bricks and plates.  Sep 27, 2005 By vietofmars
Bought this hoping to get my niece and nephew started. There are no lego figures or wheels so making moving cars will have to wait for another lego set purchase. Wish there was a picture of the contents.
