I purchased this set for my kids (ages 2, 3, & 5) and they love it. It fits perfectly on the duplo legos and the kids really enjoy all the different nationalities. All the people's arms and legs move as well. A great compliment to the Lego Duplo Basic Bricks!

my toddler loves this set even more than the legos. she delights in carrying them around and trying to place them on top of the legos.
my only complaint is paying so much for these tiny figures, they should give us at least twice the number for the price.

Excellent Addition to Duplex Legos Sep 28, 2008

These World people are an excellent addition to any duplex lego set. Children love playing with people, and this World set represents just about every type of person: both sexes, many races, hair colors, etc. Like all Lego products, they are well-made and very colorful. All in all, lots of fun!

My 18-month-old's 2nd favorite toy Feb 06, 2011

Grandma got this set for Christmas for our 18-month-old who was just introduced to Duplo last month. He LOVES his little guys. LOVES LOVES LOVES. We always have at least one on hand when we're out and about because the sight of them calms all tantrums. It's wonderful that they are multicultural. I wouldn't call them "world" people, they look like they are all Americans of different ethnicities based on their dress (all the boys have baseball hats), but that diversity is good for us. Incidentally, the baseball hats are my son's favorite part. HAT? HAT! The caps move so you can have them forward, backward, sideways. At 18 months, my son still mouths everything. These dolls are big enough that I don't worry that he'll choke on them. They seem quite durable - we were handed down an 8-year-old set of Duplo with some other figures that all still look new. (ps - the #1 favorite toy is the rocking horse he got from his other grandmother)

I orders these as a gift for my two-year-old niece for Christmas because she loves "the people." We enjoyed these ones in particular because she lives and goes to school in a very diverse neighborhood. The only bad thing was that we weren't sure, when ordering, what nationalities came in the set and were hoping for an Asian (Japanese) family because my husband (her godfather) is Japanese. We looked through the four pictures but couldn't tell from those so I wish they would have listed it on the description or included more families in the set. Very cute and obviously very durable though and she loves them!!
