Great medium-sized Lego set Jan 31, 2010
By E. Bower
"erb"
My son got this set for Christmas and, while it was only assembled very briefly, he really likes it. It includes Indy with his whip and hat as well as Mutt, which he was very excited about. Assembled, the set has a pretty neat "secret door" that is pretty fun.

Great Set, but... Sep 11, 2009
By T. W. Taylor This is a cool little Indy set, and makes a good display piece. The trap wall mechanism is cool, but the 'hideout' for the crystal skull behind the conquistador should be closed off. Could also use some more scorpions. As for play value, the boy and I could only get so much out of it, since there's not much room for an encounter with the native guards. Much shorter than the scene in the movie. We combined our's with the hideout and trees in the Jungle Cutter set, as well as a green baseplate, for a little more real estate. Don't let that disuade you, overall, if you're collecting, this one's a must.
Pros - It's Indy. Scorpions. Cool trap wall and dead conquistador. More bad guys is always a good thing.
Cons - Small amount of space to recreate the scene. I don't remember Mutt having his motorcycle there... Needs more scorpions.
AWESOME addition to your Indy sets! Feb 21, 2012
By c2 To say this set is unique is definitely an understatement. It's worth the extra dollars people are charging for it here because, quite frankly, this came out and was discontinued so fast that I almost didn't even know it had been released until it was almost too late. It goes together very quickly for an experienced builder - about oh, 25 minutes or so, but it really engrosses the imagination once it's done. The skeleton, scorpions, Mutt and his bike - it's all there, including the bad guys from the scene in the movie. Just wish those itty bitty knives they include in these sets were a different color because they look like the plastic snap-out thingies you get when you're assembling other inexpensive toys. Makes it hard to discern what is actually almost being swept up the vacuum cleaner! It's really nice to combine this one even with the giant bolder set from Raiders of the Lost Ark. They all have those nice trees so they can all flow together rather nicely. I think there's only two Indy sets we don't have and each and every one of them are even more unique than the last. The skull in this thing is hysterical!
This set is a definite must for the Indy fan in your life - mine about squealed when he saw this set! Great, great set, lasts forever during playtime, highly recommend!

By Charles F. Valentine Toy is only ok. Not worth the money but the grandkids like the toy.I would no recommend the toy to others.
Wish I could buy more of them! Jul 02, 2011
By Melissa Johnson I ordered this for my son who is a total Indiana Jones fanatic! I wish I had been able to get more of this set for him, but we were a little late on the Indy train. Lego stopped making these right before we were interested. The item we ordered arrived promptly and in good shape. All the pieces were there and my 8 year old was able to put it together quickly without any problems. He still plays with it all the time.
