Great toy from an old movie. An illusion come true May 06, 2010 For a long time I always expected to have Indiana Jones Lego, unfortunately, when I was younger, the only legos I had was from space and Lego City series.
I always wanted to have the fun stuff like Star Wars legos and Indiana Jones legos, now, I'm 28 years old, and finally I was able to buy an Indiana Jones Lego.
This set has great detail and few pieces. I recommend this toy to any one, Lego's the only toy that will remain through time and history!
I'm saving right now to buy my next Lego set.
Good but Fragile Apr 11, 2010 This toy is very fun, neat, and cute! But WAY too fragile! I would recomend this to ANY Lego Indiana Jones fan, if you don't mind it falling apart every five minutes! My kids love it but they play a LOT with their toys. Sometimes we don't even TOUCH it and it falls apart out of nowhere. It's cute... But it feels like this toy wasn't made for children to play with it. If your kids have a bad temper, don't buy this, people...
Wish Fulfilled Mar 10, 2010 This product was not tto difficult to put together but challenging enough to not be done real fast either. The plane stays together pretty good and is easy to play with. Anybody that likes Legos would enjoy this set.

GREAT LOOKING! Aug 17, 2009 Another fine looking plane from Lego. Great design. Easy build but looks awesome. Comes with 4 mini-figures, a nice gas truck and a hidden compartment between the front and rear cockpits. Highly recommended for any Indiana Jones lego collector.
Note:Small point-on the left and right of the wings are these hinges that hold the flaps. Could use another piece to secure tighter plus the 'ark' is not included. Also, the front landing gear can come off while playing. No biggie but make sure to secure it tight.
There's also a crate with some gems but not the ark itself. Would've been nice to have had a detailed ark and or closed box that closer to the movie one. But you can substitute the ark from another Indiana Jones set here.

Nice model... not overly complicated for little kids. Jul 30, 2009 I picked this up for my 7 year old son for his birthday. He was able to assemble the kit without assistance, except for the stickers which I helped him with. I'm a plane buff, so I'm glad he picked out this model. The Plane is based on the Horton HO 229, which was a jet developed by the Nazi's toward the end of WWII. The plane is modified to match the one that appears in the Indiana Jones movie... with propellers instead of jets. The wing is one large piece with 2 winglets added on to the wingtips. This makes it very sturdy for play. The large stickers used for camouflage would be a little difficult for a kid to apply, end I had a little trouble getting one in the right position... just be careful and take your time. It's a great model, from a classic scene of a great movie!
