I bought this as a birthday gift for my son, who loves pirates. He had previously played with the bigger Lego blocks and was excited to be able to use the smaller blocks. In his mind the bigger blocks are for babies. Anyway, he loved the pirate set and he and his sister played with the set for the next three days non-stop. Great buy and a bit hit.

Love Legos. Used this set to add to my "Pirates of the Caribbean" collection. It fits in beautifully! Can't get the total experience without a Kraken and a parrot!

Fun for adults and kids-LEGO forever! Apr 14, 2011

As a kid I grew up with legos and always wanted the pirates and castle themes. Now as an adult I'm reconnecting with my former childhood and Lego's have not lost their appeal, challenge or fun. This is a well worth buy.
This set is small, but if you're going to collect some of the other sets in the Pirate theme, it will round out your collection nicely.

I asked my nephew what he wanted for his 5th birthday and he said "pirate legos", then helped me write it on my shopping list. When I went to Walmart, and couldn't find any, I knew I was in trouble. With 1 week till his party, I started shopping online, and found it on Amazon. I got it within days, and he was thrilled. At his party, when he unwrapped it, he ran to me, and hugged me. Very happy with this purchase.
