It is GREAT to have this smaller one. Jun 25, 2010
By M. Heiss I really hate telling my little guy he has to save his allowance to buy more Legos -- he is saving for the fourhundreddollar Death Star and the onehundreddollar Battle of Endor right now. He's got about onehundredfiftybucks left to save, poor kiddo.
Anyway, there's a sixhundreddollar Lego Millennium Falcon out there, but seriously? I'm not spending that on Legos.
But lookie here -- a much smaller, more basic, less expensive Millenium Falcon *perfect* for playing with (especially for battles against Darth Vader's Tie Fighter, eh?). And over here, I just happen to have a child who has mastered his math facts in a month and has been reading to his brother every day. Very responsible! Job well done, meet reward.
[By the way, I got ours at a major retailer whose name begins with Wal and paid only forty bucks.

cheaper than big one... Jan 26, 2010
By C. W. Zwaschka I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. At 4 1/2 years old, he enjoys Legos and Star Wars (though he's not very good at building Legos yet). I found the set pretty easy to assembly and pretty cool looking, and though my nephew was a little disappointed that there isn't a place to put Lego men, he did find a place to wedge them in there.

Nephew Loved It Dec 01, 2009

I purchased this toy for my nephew for his 6th birthday. It was the first toy he wanted to open. Once opened he spent the rest of the day trying to figure it out. Although the box says for ages 8+, my nephew enjoys the challenge of more difficult Legos and bores easily with the simpler sets. As a child of the 1980's, I was also eager to see the final product, and enjoyed watching my nephew build the Falcon.

price gouging Sep 16, 2009
By G. Driggs OK, what's going on here? The MSRP for this new product is only 39.99. This is worse than Gamestop selling the Wii Motion Plus for $5 above MSRP. I'll update my review when I've purchased it elsewhere...

Too small for the money Mar 19, 2011
By CMO703 It's just too small. As much as I love Legos, most sets are severely overpriced, and this is certainly one of them.
