 best set I ever had! But not a great price. Feb 21, 2009

This set is amazing and very durable but somtimes when you try to take count dooku out of there the opening breaks. But over than that this set is perfect, the magna gaurds, piolet droid. Also it is kinda rard to put count dookus speeder on. I nearly fergot, the landing gear can only land on hard ground or it well not ballince.

I bought this LEGO set for my 10-yr-old grandson, who has plans to someday purchase a LEGO set (the name of which I don't know) that costs around $400.00. As far as educational value, the LEGO sets that my grandson owns have all taught my grandson TO READ DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY AND TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. Hopefully he will grow to an adult male who reads directions before he tries to build something! This grandson and his younger brother have played with this set quite a bit since it was bought. The pieces of the set fit together quite well, but I would suggest that if the child wants the set to stay "put together," then it should be glued as it is built. All the LEGO sets my grandsons have gotten have been of really top quality and have entertained them endlessly.

My 7 year old son enjoyed building the Lego. He is still playing with the ship and has had no problems. Well worth the buy. He states the "doors come off but that is a usual." He gives it 5 stars.

Great set if you have patience and love Star Wars Dec 18, 2010
This set was great fun and challenging. I really liked the design but you need to be careful to avoid having sections break apart. I was very happy with it when it was all put together.

I was satisfied with the order & the speed at which it was shipped (it was shipped early & I didn't request special shipping). The Lego box was slightly mashed which didn't affect the Lego parts inside (it might be important to a Lego collector). The box was probably suffering from a little bit of shelf/storage/handling damage which could be expected for an older model (this one is no longer being made and the price was lower than the original Lego list price - which is why I bought it). I don't think it was damaged during shipment or due to poor packaging.
