5Daughter really enjoys this lego set  Jan 05, 2010 By Jen In Cincy "cygnusdrache"
Bought this for my 10 year old daughter after she had so much fun with the Cafe & Green Grocer sets. It's a really cool looking building, and goes great with the other 2 buildings. Daughter had a lot of fun putting it together, and she also really enjoys playing with it when she sets up her lego towns (Market Street Spongbob hybrid village) Really glad we bought it, but now that it's discontinued I wouldn't be able to afford it at these prices. Glad I bought it when it was only $99 - was definitely worth the price at the time.

5A Classic Set- Still Our Favorite  Nov 28, 2010 By Paige Turner "Paige"
This was the first of the Creator sets that we purchased, and it's still our favorite. This set can be attached to Green Grocer and other sets to create an intricate city scene.

What's great about this set is not only it's fascinating level of detail, but the flexibility of design options. After you build it according to the directions, you have several choices of how to put the modules together. The standard layout is nice, but it's also fun to do it your own way.

Contrary to another review I've read, we've found no "structural problems" with this set whatsoever. Lego discontinued the set because they always discontinue sets. This is why die-hard fans that want complete series of sets will buy right away, or be subject to paying high prices for the sets after they've been discontinued.

Overall, a wonderful set- fun to build and great to look at once its complete.

5I LOVE!! it  Mar 13, 2010
I loved this set. The set was fun to build took me six hours and I am only 9 years old.
I had no help. this set is a little dissapointing on the interior detail. It looks great next to green grocer (which I got previously). I got this set off [...] for $[...] not a
good price on amazon for [...].
Cons:no interior detail,a little to small for price now (back then it used to be $[...]),

Pros: can rearange each floor.

2Discontinued Set Due to Poor Design  Nov 21, 2009 By PhotoBuff "Pixsalot"
Market Street was discontinued by Lego because of the poor design. It just didn't meet the structural integrity of the sister sets such as the Green Grocer and Cafe Corner.
