These are very weak and snap easily in a hard landing. If it doesn't straight up snap, the tiny screws that hold the skids to the struts will pull out, usually stripping the threads of the struts in the process.
I can't speak to the quality of the carbon fiber upgrade landing gear, but they're probably an improvement. What I do recommend are SuperSkids 200, which I don't believe are available on Amazon.
However, this set is the only way to get a replacement REAR landing gear on the tail, which is likely to snap regardless of what skids you have on.

This landing gear is awful! I could make better landing gear.. It doesn't take much to break these, even in soft grass... I lost power to my chopper at a hover only about a foot off the ground, onto soft grass, and this landing gear broke. I could manufacturer better landing gear..
