Won't hold charge Oct 02, 2006
By Robert L. Nelson The rodent does recharge from the controller, but unfortunately the charge only lasts about five seconds. One good run then recharge. Controls are erratic. Ad is totally misleading.

Does not hold a charge! Jun 08, 2007
By BJC While my cats love this toy, it only runs for a minute or two before you have to put it back on the charger. Additionally, it is very erratic and I don't mean in a good way. Sometimes it will work, then it will be unresponsive, and then it will start running again.
It would be really great it if worked correctly.

Radio Rodent - cat's favorite toy Jan 15, 2007
By Richard S. Rosenbaum The two cats love it ! The quality is there, as well as design details. The cats hunt down the mouse to play with it even when it is not on. The product seems well made. The only complaint is he short run time of the mouse. However, it charges in mimutes. Our son and his wife loved it so theirs cats got one for the Holidays as well.

Radio Rodent Aug 30, 2006
By June Downs This product did not work from day one. After a less than favorable review in this section the company contacted me to offer a refund if I removed the review. Don,t waste your time or money with this company.

fun, but loses charge quickly Jan 02, 2008
By Patrick W. Broughton This product is fun to use and works well. The red LED eyes light brightly whenever the motors are engaged, which is a nice touch. A couple of problems exist: Firstly, the toy does not come with any instructions whatsoever. The cord for recharging the mouse is in a hidden compartment of the cheeseburger controller, and it took me a few minutes to find it. When you plug the mouse into the controller for charging, a green LED on the controller lights, presumably to indicate the charging state. After a couple of minutes, the LED goes out, presumably to indicated that the charging has been completed. From this "full-charge" state, the device will operate continuosly for only a few minutes. I found this to be the case whether I charged it for 2 minutes or 2 hours. On the positive side, my cat loves it- especially the spinning tail feature, which is pretty ingenious. Fun, yes. Worth 30 bucks? That's a matter of opinion.
