4What a fun, fun (indoor) blast!!!  May 29, 2009
The Avion biplane is a total blast to fly - either indoors in a *LARGE* room or outdoors ***AFTER SUNSET*** (that part is rather important!!!).

It's very easy to fly (as R/C aircraft go), and durable enough to withstand crashes into lamps, couches, chairs, walls, etc. when you're learning to fly it. I say "when" because you very likely *WILL* crash while learning how to fly it.

I also purchased the optional landing gear (wheels) that should allow it to take off without your having to hand-launch it; though I have honestly not had a chance to attempt a "tabletop takeoff" just yet.

My full review of it (including four videos) can be found at the following URL: [...]

1not happy w/product or service  Mar 04, 2009
The product is an electric rechargeable airplane. On the first recharge after flight the on-off-recharge switch fell off. There was no response from the on line 24 hour help service. The phone customer service representative said if I paid shipping the company would send another plane. I agreed. That was over a month ago and still no new plane.

4Get Creative!!  Jan 20, 2009
I picked this rc plane up at Radioshack for 30$. When i opened the box, i laughed at the idea of a Styrofoam plane. I had just returned two broken mini copters and i was convinced this was another gimmic. When i read the manual it said that i was expected to fix all breaks with scotch tape and glue. Now, some would say that that is the exact reason that the plane sucks, it breaks easy. I saw it as a chance to be creative. I lined the edges of the top front wings with a single layer of tape. I then used some cardboard paper to reinforce the back rotor. I also ran two toothpicks through the two front wings and glued them in place to stabilize the wings. THIS WAS SUPER FUN!!!!!!! Since then i have crash a million times, and whenever a piece looks like its going to give, i work around it. After all these stupid modifications, the plane works flawlessly and has provided endless hours of indoor fun.

1Remote control broke in less than 10 minutes.  Jan 07, 2009
Gave this product as a gift on Christmas. The remote control broke after playing with it for a few minutes - very disappointing, as we were looking forward to flying it. Extremely fragile plane, also.

5Amazing Indoor Airplane  Dec 31, 2008
I just bought this plane on sale from radioshack for $20. It is a joy to fly and is extremeley manuverable. Other than this plane i have only flown an air hogs havoc and a havoc cyclone. The controls on this plain are simple, intuitive and produce clean reactions from the plain. if you have never flown a radio controlled vehicle, this will take some getting used to. The plane looks rather flimsy, but it has survived many crashes by me. hopefully it won't break in the future. The only downside to this plane is the lack of elavator controls, but that isn't a surpise for a product in this price range. A great plane for fliers of all ages and skill levels.
