Very Good In-Door Flyer But Less Than a Durable Toy Dec 10, 2007

This is one of the few R/C planes that can fly inside your home. Comparing to the Silverlit PalmZ, this plane is much better looking and can be more precisely controlled. However, it is twice as expensive, has a little less thrust-to-weight ratio, and has shorter flight time.
The fun factor is very high for this kind of product (yeah, flying R/C planes inside your own home! How cool is that!). But for its price, I would expect something more durable. Though the plane can take on quite a few crashes, the styrofoam wings get dented, cracked, and chip easily. I would highly recommend that you protect the edges of the wings with light weight scotch tape immediately out of the box. Such a simple protection goes a long way.

Get Creative!! Jan 20, 2009
By Noah Alonso-torres I picked this rc plane up at Radioshack for 30$. When i opened the box, i laughed at the idea of a Styrofoam plane. I had just returned two broken mini copters and i was convinced this was another gimmic. When i read the manual it said that i was expected to fix all breaks with scotch tape and glue. Now, some would say that that is the exact reason that the plane sucks, it breaks easy. I saw it as a chance to be creative. I lined the edges of the top front wings with a single layer of tape. I then used some cardboard paper to reinforce the back rotor. I also ran two toothpicks through the two front wings and glued them in place to stabilize the wings. THIS WAS SUPER FUN!!!!!!! Since then i have crash a million times, and whenever a piece looks like its going to give, i work around it. After all these stupid modifications, the plane works flawlessly and has provided endless hours of indoor fun.

not happy w/product or service Mar 04, 2009

The product is an electric rechargeable airplane. On the first recharge after flight the on-off-recharge switch fell off. There was no response from the on line 24 hour help service. The phone customer service representative said if I paid shipping the company would send another plane. I agreed. That was over a month ago and still no new plane.

Fun little plane, too bad it quit working. Dec 09, 2008
By RJR This is a neat little plane, flies nicely, but it was not long lived -- after about a dozen flights (charges), the tail motor mysteriously suddenly slowed down and quit mid-flight. The rudder still works, and I made sure everything was charged. Don't know if the problem is the controller or the plane. Another reviewer had the same happen, so consider carefully -- I am going to buy a different brand!

Great indoor flyer Dec 11, 2008
By Paul This is a great item. I bought mine at Toys R Us and paid 50 bucks so Amazon is the way to go if you want to save money. The plane is somewhat durable and knowing how to fly remote control airplanes first is a must in order to enjoy it to its full potential. I have the ability to do figure eights in my living room. The battery life is excellent. 10 minutes of flight time consistently. You do have to be extremely careful flying it and land it carefully in a soft spot. It does not take off on its own and must be gently hand launched. If you are good enough, when the battery does start to go you can fly it back to yourself slowly and catch it avoiding crash landing it.
