So Easy! May 26, 2004 This was my first time ever trying to fly a radio control airplane. I have seen other people doing it and I thought it would be very hard but I tossed it into the air and it flew right up! It is very easy to control. I crash landed a few times but it still flies great! This plane is so much fun!

Good for fun, BAD for durability Sep 21, 2004

I took this out with my 5-year-old and broke the two propellers that came with it within 30 minutes. I thought, "I just suck at flying this thing.", and when I tried to order new propellers, shipping was extremely expensive, and these plastic propellers are two dollars each.
A few weeks later I saw the same plane being flow by another father with his son, both propellers broke in the first few flights. You decide...coincidence, or global RC airplane conspiracy against well-meaning dads?

Don't Waste Your Time Or Your Money Jul 09, 2004 The battery position makes this plane "nose heavy " and ours never did get off the ground. In addition, the small nuts which hold the rear landing gear loosen up due to the vibration which could lead to losing the wheel. As "first time" R/C enthusiasts, we were very disappointed by the performance of this plane.

Avoid Jun 18, 2005
By Uncle M. Avoid this plane. Although the kit is well packaged, with good instructions, nice CD and easy assembly, as a flier it is under powered, the radio controller is no better than a $10.00 Radio Shack toy car, and the electronics quality and design are poor. I purchased two planes for use with my nephew. I tested the first plane; right out of the box the power/motor control on the radio only worked intermittently- it pulsed on and off. You need the motor constantly on to launch and climb to altitude. I did get the plane up, and then found it would only turn left. Examination showed that the servo to the rudder only extended fully in one direction. The second plane flew ok once, but did a nose dive every subsequent flight. The center of gravity is now off; the body of the plane is sealed so this will be hard to adjust. A very frustrating experience overall. For the record, we tried this plane under ideal conditions: 85 degrees F., high humidity, ZERO wind speed, multiple fully charged battery packs, in a four acre cow pasture. With a stronger motor and greater attention to quality control, this could be a great starter plane.

Good for the $$$ Sep 03, 2005
By J. Y. Armstrong This is a good plane to learn on although it must be flown in zero wind. It is underpowered so care must be taken to gain altitude before attempting any tight turns.
