This package contains the basic tools to get you started in scale modeling. If compared to purchasing the items separately, you might actually spend twice the cost of this package. I think it's a good deal.

Wanted to start making models again so I picked this up. Comes with everything you need to get started. I found a kit that comes with all the paint colors for military type models for $10 more. Same brand, same everything else.

Was using the exacto-knife for taking excess plastic off of model pieces and the tip already broke. Wasn't even using a lot of force to clean off excess plastic so I was shocked it broke off. If the knife gets dull, I'd have to buy another one instead of just changing the blade itself. Everything else was great for putting together my models.

It's an allright kit, probably wouldn't buy it just because I needed finer paint brushes and I had most of the other things.
