4love this boat  Jul 07, 2008 By flimflam man "filmfan"
i bought a used one of these and had to replace the electrical system-that includes radio, servos, everything. considering I've never owned an RC sailboat, never sailed a real boat, and never had to change anything on an rc model, but within a day I had the Nirvana sailing like an old pro. I think it says a lot for the boat that it's easy to understand when something's wrong and you're able to fix it. My second day out I got caught in some high wind and the jib sail came loose. I didn't have the instruction manual with me but I was able to re-rig it by guessing how the lines worked. sure enough i was back in the water once the wind died down. it's a pleasure t sail this boat. In fact i'm getting a second one to race with friends.

There are 2 problems i found common with these boats. the electrics aren't good--but like i said, it's easy to replace with better equipment. and the knots on the lines can come loose--always check before launching.

5RC sailboat  Aug 17, 2009 By Lyle Gallup "papa1"
Easy to assemble.Fun to use. It does everything I had expected of it.As of this writing I have spent many hours sailing with no problems. The radio range is enough that I can still controll the boat when it is too far away to tell which direction it's facing.

5Fun to sail  Aug 08, 2009 By Michael Orladno
The boat is fun to sail. The rudder and it's servo is hard to adjust. Had to
use a dremel tool to reshape the shaft so that it center correctly even after resetting the servo arm. The sail servo works well.

4Pretty Good Product  Apr 10, 2011 By jasgrab "Jason"
Pretty nice boat. I bought this boat before I owned a Real one! I still like it and the kids have a lot of fun with it. I had servo issues when it was new, but Megatech replaced the broken parts in a very satisfactory manner. It is a great teaching tool for kids who want to learn how to sail (although there is no replacing the real thing).
