Update your Uno cards Jul 27, 2009
By Elizabeth Benefiel Fun version of Uno, the card game that was a staple of our family's international travels for years. These tiles aren't as likely to collect fang marks or tear and lose corners. They feel nice, and being washable is an added attraction! Not appropriate to have around kids who might try to eat them, although the basic strategies (and randomness) make the game enjoyable for a wide range of ages playing together. Would be more fun with more than one set in play, but a short game has its merits. I'm going to get a couple for my middle school math classes. Somebody needs to invent a 3D version that could build up as well as link on a flat surface.
Fun twist on Traditional Dominos Jan 06, 2012
By C. C. Nicholas Fast, fun and portable. This twist on traditional dominoes can be played several ways from very simple color matching to more complicated versions incorporating some basic math. The shaped pieces add an extra element of fun and challenge. My 7-year-old loves it!
