It features an authentic passenger station, realistic train sounds, and a working microphone! Includes two pieces of special switch track and two pieces of male bumpers. Volume setting (low and normal) lets parents control play. Requires 4 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 20.9" x 10.8" x 6.4".

I bought this for our house and every child who comes into our house loves it too. It really is a great station and the children love playing with it as part of their Thomas train layout. It gets shy children talking into the mic to announce which train platform the trains are arriving on and they add other comments, which is just great.

I purchased this for my son to add to his Thomas collection. It is a fairly large piece and can be a bit tricky to fit into a layout on the train table but my son loves to talk into the microphone and tell the trains to go to Knapford station. A good buy.

My son loves this product. Just last night he was trying to do a deep voice into the microphone and said "Thomas, you have caused confusion and delay" and then giggled like crazy. It was a good addition to his set!

Great looking toy - speaker for microphone doesn't work correctly Dec 26, 2009 By Elaine
The Knapford Station is really cute and my son loves it. But the speaker for the microphone doesn't work correctly. We tried new batteries but that didn't help. We have to put our ear against the speaker and can then faintly hear the sounds from the microphone and the pre-recorded announcements.
