| | | Bumblebee could have cared less about his appearance. As long as his alternate mode kept him hidden, and protected his plasma cannon from the weather, he was content. But now, on Earth, he has found friendship for the first time in as long as he can remember, in the person of Sam Witwicky. At Sam?s urging, he scans a sweet new vehicle form. Now, he?s still ready to fight to the end against the deceptions, but he sure hopes nothing too bad happens to his paint job. Convert this AUTOBOT figure from menacing robot mode to Camaro concept vehicle mode and back again. It features a cannon that converts to a blade in robot mode. This is one awesome figure for your collection. | | | |

BEWARE HIGH INTERNET PRICES. This is a great toy but only worth $10 Aug 16, 2007

This is a great product and in high demand. BEWARE OF PEOPLE EXPLOITING THE HIGH DEMAND FOR THIS TOY. IT SELLS AT RETAIL FOR $10. People should be ashamed of themselves asking $100 for a $10 dollar item. Hasbro will catch up with demand in the following months and this item will be easily available at Target, TRU and Walmart. The only reason it is so hard to find now is scalpers selling this toy online for ridiculous prices. Do not pay more that $15 for this toy.

Buyer Beware! Dec 06, 2007
By SR This toy is 5" long, bumper to bumper. This is a "stocking stuffer", not a gift. It's educational value lies in the "Buyer Beware!" lesson you learn upon getting burned by this purchase. After years of successful Amazon purchases, this is my first experience with the "scalping" approach on this site. As pointed out by other reviewers, the retail value, as assessed by Hasbro, is $9.99 and while it may be out of stock from traditional stores, literally hundreds are available at auction, at or close to that value. My trust in Amazon is permanently tarnished!

Fun for older child Nov 04, 2007

We love Bumblebee, but this is quite difficult to transform. These are designed to easily pop things in and out, and although that would be great, it also means things pop off. The head is constantly coming off. It is a huge choking hazard!
My kids love the transformer, but it is tricky to transform.

The BEST of the Movie Deluxe line-up Aug 13, 2007
By I. Ling The old Camaro version of Bumblebee was disappointing in a number of ways, not the least of which was that the Automorph hood clip on mine broke almost immediately. Pleasingly, there is no such problem with the 08 Camaro Bumblebee, which, when considered together with the rest of the qualities of the figure make it one excellent Transformer!
Bumblebee is undoubtably one of the bigger robot stars of the movie, and the attention given to this figure is reflective of that status. Not only does each leg have good Automorphs (rotating the rear windshields out of place), but the front section also rotates a number of parts simultaneously. Unlikely the older Camaro version however, this version is robust and does not have any flimsy tabs that can break off - it's more like Wreckage's Automorph actually.
The car mode is, needless to say, really quite good looking, albeit with a number of joint lines that are easily visible. The windows are translucent/transparent, which is another step up from the older Bumblebee. The robot mode looks similar to the other version, but is more muscular and feels more solid, with an overall look that one would easily declare as superior. And, perhaps more importantly, it is very poseable.
What more needs to be said? A very desirable car, an excellent robot mode, and three (if you count them like that) Automorph sections; not to mention being one of the big stars of the movie. This is definitely the best and most collectible of the Deluxe range!
(Look at my other reviews - I haven't given any other overall 5 stars out)
[...] The review above is more purely regarding the characteristic of the toy itself.

Buyers Beware of Price Gouging Sep 22, 2007
By Stacey L. Cabelly

This IS a sweet vehicle ( toy ) and much better detailed than the first camaro they came out with earlier. They are becoming avalible at most Toys R Us stores so PLEASE be patient!!! DO NOT pay more than 12.00 for this toy. Online retailers are selling this for up to 70.00 and ToyWiz
don't even have it in stock and they want 50? They are the main rip off
artists when it comes to toys so don't even bother with them when you have
the whole world wide web to check other retailers.
Again a much nicer version than the earlier camaro even though they are different years. Get both if collecting, otherwise, just get the 08 camero and your kids ( or you ) will be very happy with the purchase. Also check hasbro's main site, as they sell their products on there also.
Hope this Helped!!!
